Peyvok: the Kurmanji word puzzle
Peyvok (from peyv, “word”) is a word puzzle in Kurmanji Kurdish. Each level gives you a wheel of letters and a crossword-style grid. Find the hidden words by joining letters on the wheel. There are 458 levels in 15 chapters.
How to play
- Build a word by joining letters on the wheel, then submit it.
- Each required word you find is revealed on the grid. Find them all to finish the level.
- Bonus words are extra real words you can make from the same letters. They are optional but help you earn three stars and coins.
- Tap the audio button to hear a word’s pronunciation, and see its English meaning.
Power-ups
| Power-up | What it does |
|---|---|
| Kotr | Reveals one letter on the grid. |
| Gopal | Reveals the path of a word. |
| Tambor | Reveals four letters at once. |
Each power-up can be used once per level for free. After that, power-ups cost coins, which you earn by finishing levels and finding bonus words.

- Mind the accents. e and ê are different letters on the wheel. The alphabet guide explains each one.
- Learn as you go. Every word in Peyvok is in our Kurmanji–English word list with its meaning, and most have a recording.
